About Rogue Land & Cattle

A Texas family raising Wagyu the right way.

The family behind Rogue Land & Cattle

How It Started

We started raising Wagyu cattle because we wanted better beef for our own table. The quality difference — the marbling, the flavor, the tenderness — was so profound that we grew the herd and began sharing it with others.

What started as a personal pursuit has grown into a breeding program built around one simple idea: raise every animal the way you'd want your own food raised.

Our Philosophy

Genetics matter. We source from proven Full Blood and high-percentage Wagyu lines. The foundation of great beef is built before the animal is ever born, and we take that seriously at every breeding decision.

Stress-free handling is equally important. Calm cattle raise better beef. Cortisol affects tenderness and flavor — that's not a theory, it's well-documented science. We handle our calves daily from birth, which means they're genuinely easy to work with and produce beef that reflects the calm environment they were raised in.

Genuine daily care.We know each animal personally. That's not a marketing line — it's simply the reality of how we run this operation. Every calf gets individual attention from day one.

“We raise every calf the way we'd want our own food raised — with good genetics, calm handling, and genuine care.”
